Farmer in the Deli was established in 2005 by Frank Spoto. Frank's love of cooking started by watching his dear grandmother create delicious recipes in the kitchen. His long career in the food industry began over 30 years ago. As a manager at Stouffer's he learned the fundamentals of the food industry.  Frank then went on to be the sole proprietor of a breakfast and lunch restaurant. He established and worked Spoto's Bar and Grill on Mayfield Road for 15 years. Frank's love of cooking and creating delicious sandwiches led him to search for a new location in Chesterland, Ohio, where he now owns Farmer in the Deli.

Farmer in the Deli carries a wide range of fresh produce, cured meats, cheeses and specialty items, both imported and house-made. In addition to the deli, a variety of sandwiches are also made to order.
